Lisa N. Johnson is President and Chief Operating Officer at The Lamar Johnson Collaborative, where she is responsible for accounting, finance, HR, legal, marketing and communications, and technology amongst other operations departments. Formerly, she served as executive vice president and division manager for the Midwest region of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking. Based in Chicago, she had oversight for a group of offices serving middle-market companies in Illinois. Lisa also provided leadership for Wells Fargo’s broader business in Chicago, chairing its Regional Leadership Council.
A 30-year Wells Fargo veteran, Lisa began her career with the company in 1983. She was Midwest regional manager for Wells Fargo Business Credit, where she developed a high-performing team that managed relationships with middle-market companies that had asset-based credit needs. From 2000 until 2007, she managed the Strategic Resource group within Wells Fargo Business Credit, with responsibility for training, marketing, product development, and treasury management. Prior to 2000, she held positions in business development and relationship management in asset-based lending and commercial banking.
Active in the community, Lisa is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and The Chicago Network. She is a trustee of the Chicago Zoological Society and a director of United Way of Metropolitan Chicago. She also volunteers with Housing Forward, and has served as president of the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
